This kind of moss that grows on Oak tree branches are, of course, called Oak Moss. Oak trees are prevalent in North America and Europe, hence Oak Moss can be found in these areas as well. The locals gather this little bunches of moss, however it is in France where the extraction of Oak Moss essential oil is done. This moss may be small and seems dependent on the Oak tree where they are attached but its essential oil is big on benefits.
When diffused or used in aromatherapy, Oak Moss essential oil offers rejuvenating, refreshing, and relaxing effects. It impacts the mood and the mind more than the body. It may be used concomitantly with decongestant balms to treat difficulty of breathing. Oak Moss oil blends well with geranium, cypress, lavender, patchouli, and neroli.

This is an OMG so good, so terrific, so earthy, so woody scent, I gotta stop there. I can't say enough about this oil, it is the BEST. It comes SUPER thick so I pulled the stopper and added 6 drops of alcohol (denatured) 2 drops at a time to get it to drop out of the bottle and it's still slow. This very rich scent is THE BEST for any masculine cologne or diffuser use. I have several different cologne blends I use and I've cut my Sandalwood down (very hard to find good Sandalwood) and added this Oakmoss and people ask me what I'm wearing! They freak when I tell them I make it and won't let them have any...lol. If you mix oils, you MUST get this!
