Plant Therapy Cajeput Essential Oil
Details: Botanical Name: Melaleuca Cajeputi Origin: Indonesia Extraction Method: Steam Distilled Plant Part: Leaves and Twigs Strength of Aroma: Medium Aromatic Scent: Cajeput oil resembles the combined fragrance of Camphor, Rosemary, and Cardamom. It's fresh with a slight fruity scent. Blends well with: Cedarwood, Clove Bud, Oregano, Rosemary and Thyme. Suggested Uses: Cajeput essential oil has long been used for sore throats and it's antiviral action makes it a great option for cold sores. Cajeput is also used to help with pain such as muscle stiffness, muscle cramping and menstruation. Diffuse Cajeput essential oil to help relieve the symptoms caused by the flu or cold. It can also be added to a bath or massage oil to help with aches and pains. For relief from an insect bite or skin ailment, add a small amount to your favorite carrier oil and apply twice a day. It's also a great mosquito repellent. Cautions: Do not diffuse near or apply to the face of children 6 years of age or younger.
